Undergraduate students are valuable members of the Communication P.A.L.S. Lab! Our students participate in several aspects of research, including collecting data, analyzing and interpreting data, preparing posters, presentations, and/or manuscripts, and more. With mentorship throughout their time in the lab, students gain experience that supports their understanding of research and its connection to clinical practice.

The Communication P.A.L.S. Lab welcomes undergraduate students from a variety of majors and colleges. Students may participate in the lab through the following ways:
- Course credit (e.g., SLHS 199: Independent Study)
- Undergraduate Honors Thesis
- Fostering Underrepresented Employees' Resilience and Zeal for Academia
- Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC)
- Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Program)
- Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP)
