What is the purpose of this study?
We want to understand what supports successful communication for adolescents with and without disabilities in their everyday activities.
Who is eligible?
You may be eligible to join if:
- You are 18-45 years old.
- You are a native English speaker (bilingual or monolingual).
- You have normal hearing.
- You have no history of speech, language, or learning disorders.
What does participation involve?
- You will briefly listen to audio clips of an adolescent's speech sample, type what you hear, and rate how the speech sample sounds.
- Session duration is between 30-60 minutes.
- Participation may be done virtually or at the University of Arizona.
Is there compensation?
- Participation in the study is free and voluntary.
- You will receive a $10 Visa Gift Card after completing your session.
